Because we went to Nicaragua, we weren't able to have a party for them, so we used our coupons & passes to celebrate their birthday. We had a fun day. Gabe, Kayla & I took cupcakes to their class. Alani is a bit on the shy side & didn't want the "Happy Birthday" song. Savanah was enjoying her crown & loved her cupcake. After that we went to lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. The girls all earned free kids meals from the library this summer. They love the animals & I love the "Volcano" ice cream, brownie, hot fudge, caramel - need I say more? Then we ended the day at Castle Park. My mom had bought us summer passes. Savanah was soooo excited that she could ride the roller coaster. We tried to do a switcheroo bcuz the girls were wearing the same clothes. We were almost on the ride with Alani & there was a shift change - ugh! The new guy measured Alani & she's not tall enought by 1". Needless to say, she was not happy. That saturday, we still had cake & ice cream at our house & my mom made the best "Arroz A La Valenciana" ever!
